Program Overview

Aither's Internship Program offers a 3-month unpaid learning experience focused on sharpening your skills as a graphic (including illustration and animation) and brand designer. Throughout the program, you'll dive into graphic design, brand development, and AI-assisted design tools, gaining invaluable experience and mentorship along the way.

Month 1: Onboarding, AI tools, Design Systems, Templates, Graphic Design Fundamentals, and Meeting Participation

• Onboarding: Meet the team and be paired with a Senior Designer who will mentor you. Engage in biweekly check-ins with our COO to ensure your skill development and provide a space for open discussion.
• AI Tools: Learn to generate digital assets through Midjourney, enhancing your proficiency in AI-assisted design tools.
• Design Systems: Learn the fundamentals of building design systems in Figma, focusing on consistency, modularity, and reusability. This includes organizing components, styles, and assets systematically and defining design guidelines such as naming conventions, grid systems, color palettes, and typography rules.
• Templates: Begin hands-on work with component design and auto layouts, establishing a foundation for creating scalable design systems and UI templates.
• Graphic Design: Develop skills in moodboarding, concepting, typography, and color theory. Learn to effectively use margins, padding, and blend modes, integrating your skills across Figma and Adobe Suite to enhance your design proficiency.
• Meetings: Participate in client and internal meetings to gain insights into business processes and team dynamics.

Month 2: Advancing Design Skills and Real-World Application

• Skill Application: Apply your skills to real-world projects, focusing on design principles. Collaborate with team members to deliver impactful design assets from graphical, illustration to Lottis on small-scale deliverables.
• Design Systems and Templates: Continue to refine your ability to create and manage design systems and templates/ in Figma, enhancing your approach to component organization, system modularity, and UI.
• Graphic Design: Deepen your understanding and application of graphic design principles by advancing your techniques in moodboarding, typography, and color theory.
